Responsibilities:
- Generate work orders based on driver feedback and your own inspections of equipment.
- Communicate with drivers and logistics team in order to prioritize order of job completion.
- Assign Jobs to shop personnel in away that maximizes efficiency of shop time and supplies while minimizing equipment down time.
- Inspect work performed in our shop, and ensure that work quality has met or exceeded industry standard.
- Work on shop floor as a maintenance technician, when necessary.
- 24/7 On Call, communicate with drivers to diagnose the cause of breakdowns, find nearest repair facility and explain repair procedure to a mobile technician across 48 contiguous states as well as Canada.
Requirements:
- 3
years management in a repair shop or industrial environment.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical failures and explain repair procedure to others - Familiarity with basic hydraulic system, positive displacement pumps, and pneumatic system.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
